Update

Rosa is 17 days old today... the past week has been pretty good. The only challenge is the 'arsenic' hours from 3pm - 6.30pm when she just screams and gets overtired and George is demanding attention. Sigh... parenting is bloody hard work during those hours and dinner usually just happens when it can.

Rosa put on just under 200gms in her second week, it will be interesting to see how she goes this week. If she can consistently put on around 150 - 200gms per week I'll be very happy. She's a great feeder and wakes 3-5 hourly overnight, so sometimes twice a night. But she almost always goes straight back to sleep after a 30 min feed and nappy change. Over the past weekend we took her to Paddle Tots Swim School for George's last lesson for the year plus a big day on Sunday at the mall shopping and then for a big walk in the Gardens. She did so well, fed every 3 hours and slept the rest of the time. Fingers crossed she stays like this as it will be nice to have a baby that I can take out once and a while (George was NOT keen on being very social in the first 3 months).

Anyway, here are a selection of piccies taken in the past few days.
xx
